Sr Manager Software Engineering - eCommerce

What you'll be doing:
You'll be managing Landing Page Domain - eCommerce for B2B customers and will be responsible for development, testing and implementation of software that meets established specifications on time and within budget. Ensures that features deployed have scalability, technical integrity and stability. You'll be managing highly talented individuals who create or modify complex programs and modules from a detailed design where performance, efficiency, and reliability are critical to the entire system. Reporting to eCommerce Director, and you'll closely working with Product owners, peer engineering managers to support Landing Page Domain initiatives. What you bring to the table:
Applies engineering concepts and principles to the design of software solutions. Evaluates business needs, reviews functional requirements and technical specifications, and codes secure and efficient solutions or enhancements Serves as the primary point of contact between end users, support personnel, and software engineering teams Manages finances - Capital and Expense within budget and look for ways to optimize spend Manages resource scheduling and task execution to plans and objectives. Maintains a high-level understanding of dependencies that could lead to scheduling risks. Recruits and hires new associates Provides supervision for direct reports including hired services contractors Establishes individual performance goals, reviews performance against goals and provides coaching for associate development. Qualifications :
What's needed- Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in either mathematics, statistics, computer science, Information systems, or a directly related field, plus 10
years of managing large applications Experience with technologies such as Java, Node.js, React.js and Next.js. Experience is micro-services architecture and development using frameworks like SpringBoot. Experience in both relational and NoSQL database - Oracle, Couchbase Experience managing onsite and offshore resources Experience working with Agile development methodologies What's needed- Preferred Qualifications Master's degree preferred Experience managing large retail website We Offer:

$200K -- $250K
