As the need for transportation continues to grow, so does the MWRTA, and as a result the agency is seeking to add a full-time staff member in Fleet Maintenance.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Attention to vehicle 2 way radio install/fare systems understanding, preventative maintenance, snow/ice detail and removal, road testing fleet vehicles.
The ideal candidate for this position is a self-motivated individual with a professional demeanor, excellent work ethic, and someone who also possess the following skills and traits as mentioned below.
Residence in the MetroWest area a plus.

The following in house training & licensure is available at no cost to the individual hired.
Class C CDL with Passenger Endorsement - Required (license completion necessary within 12 months) Hoisting State Inspection Work Preferences:
Minimum five years' automotive experience Ford experience a plus Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Candidates must be able to pass a CORI, and pre-hire drug and alcohol test.
MWRTA is a drug free workplace and all MWRTA employees are subject to random drug and alcohol tests throughout their employment with the agency.
