Summary:
40 hours per week, including some weekends - 7:
00am-3:
30pm Pay rate is negotiable based on your experience Coordinates, supervises and assists in the delivery of resident care for one 28-bed long term care unit.
Responsible for staff supervision of nurses (LPN/RN) and CNAs, as well as interfacing with physician staff for planning and implementing nursing care for long-term and acutely ill geriatric residents, and providing clinical expertise to staff as needed.
Assists in training, evaluation and retention of staff.
Interacts with families and conducts interdisciplinary care plan meetings.
Qualifications:
Current MA RN or LPN License - in good standing.
Minimum 2-4 years experience as RN/LPN, preferably in a long term care setting.
Nursing management experience required.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills.
Demonstrates the role of supervisor in a professional and courteous manner.
Patience, compassion, and a desire to work with the elderly.
? Per State mandate, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
