What you'll be doing:
The Senior Project Manager leads cross functional project teams, developing and launching products for the Staples brands group.
Through their outstanding organization and collaboration skills, they bring together the right team, layout the path, and hold everyone accountable, all while showing off their leadership and communication prowess.
This individual drives projects to ensure they are launched on time, at our cost targets, and with exceptional quality and performance Own and manage a portfolio of product initiatives from sourcing changes and line extensions to new product developments.
Lead project teams in developing new products for the Staples Own Brand team and deliver flawless execution as we are bringing them to market.
Responsible for driving end-to-end project process, from concept to launch, influencing teams across the Staples organization (Brand, Marketing, Innovation, Category, Operations) to drive accountability and execute on time.
Bring a continuous improvement mindset identifying and executing ideas to improve the Staples project management process.
Collaborate and develop strong relationships with key partners within the Merchandising.
Marketing, and supply chain organizations to aid in the removal of obstacles, solving problems that inhibit successful development and launch of products and programs.
Build project management capability and develop the project management organization at Staples.
Responsible for coaching and training other project associate managers and project specialists.
Responsible for hiring and developing associate project managers and specialist project managers.
Responsible for strategy to build project management capability within SBG.

Experience in developing and launching consumer products into the market.
