Legal Associate - Employee Relations

Hello, My name is Ana, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Legal Associate - Employee Relations for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Framingham, MA (HYBRID). Details for the position are as follows:
Contract role of 3 months, with potential extensions. Pay range is $34-37/hr. Hybrid role - Tuesdays and Wednesdays Onsite.
Job Description:
This role will work in the Associate Relations Practices (ARP) department supporting the ARP team and the Company s Human Resources community on various employment matters. This role will collaborate with other departments and interact with in-house and outside counsel. Support administration of I-9 forms, E-Verify, and related immigration issues. Direct subpoenas and external requests for information to the proper departments. Facilitate communication with state labor agencies. Conduct research on a variety of employment topics such as wage and hour laws, minor labor laws, ADA, criminal code, etc. Other tasks or projects, large or small, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Seeking newly licensed lawyers with 1-3 years experience, JDs who are not licensed, evening law school students (L3 or L4) who are available full time during the day, and/or paralegals. Experience or knowledge in human resources, employment law, or immigration law (I-9s, Visas, etc) is a HUGE plus. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
