Ameresco is hiring for aSenior Business Systems Analystto support the Finance department and business unit users on Microsoft D365 F&O and other integrated financial systems. The Sr. Business Systems Analyst will provide technical support on D365 and other financial systems in areas such as workflow, user security administration, upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting errors. This position is in the Corporate Finance department and reports to the Senior Manager - Systems Business Process.
Responsibilities:
Meet with key Finance department and business unit users to understand reporting (including dashboard) and process needs. Consider appropriate reporting and BI tools to meet end-user needs. Design/develop reports using Power BI, Jet Analytics, advanced D365 report configuration, Power Apps, Fastpath, and SSRS. Analyze required business process and workflow improvements and work with third-party partner, as needed, to help implement improvements. Lead optimization initiatives to improve business and technical tasks and reduce/eliminate manual processes. Work with functional leaders to help write functional design documents for new/revised processes, detailing any customizations. Support improvement and upgrade testing, working with functional leaders, to develop and implement test plans; ensure systems and reports are properly tested and debugged. Prepare training materials and train key functional SME's, and when necessary, end-users. Support system administration functions, like user security administration, system troubleshooting, and end-user problem resolution Perform other duties as required. Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, in accounting information systems, computer science, or other related business field. Minimum 5 years experience as a Business Systems Analyst, including minimum 3 years with general ledger and project accounting applications. Microsoft D365 F&O experience.
