EXPERIENCE Minimum of 2 years physical plant and equipment maintenance experience in an institutional environment.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
o Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Knowledge of basic principles of preventative maintenance, mechanical functions and repairs, and grounds upkeep.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers.
Proficient computer skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Will require the employee to sit, stand, bend, and reach, frequently during the day.
Only moderate potential for exposure to blood and body fluids as well as air borne partials that could cause illness is found in this position.
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is also noted and to carry items up to 100 yards.
CORE COMPETENCIES/SKILL SETS/JOB FUNCTIONS Demonstrates ability to perform work in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations on a consistent basis Applies knowledge of building and safety codes and regulations Demonstrates the ability to perform all tasks assigned in a timely manor with minimal supervision.
o Responds to emergency maintenance needs in a prompt manor.
o Maintains and applies updated knowledge of equipment and plant functions.
o Completes mandatory in-services and competencies.
o Demonstrates knowledge of the rights and dignity of residents, staff, and community and applies this knowledge while on the job.
o Maintains the confidence of resident information and center information.
o Maintains open and productive communication systems with peers, families, vendors and other staff members.
o Performs other duties as assigned All Casa staff members must be in compliance with the Department of Health's COVID-19 Up to Date Vaccination Guidance.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
