Summary:
A general cleaner performs the function of cleaning, stocking, and supplying cleaning materials to designated facility areas.
His/her duties may include dusting, sweeping, and mopping; vacuuming, cleaning ceiling vents, and cleaning the restroom as well as other assigned areas.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Perform work assignments in a team with other employees.
Maintain a clean work area.
Follow all company and customer procedures, policies, and rules.
Take direction and respond to supervision.
Use proper personal protective equipment.
Present a professional appearance and conduct.
Understand customer service and satisfaction.
Perform repetitive cleaning tasks, including, but not limited to:
Vacuuming Carpet cleaning.
Stripping, waxing, buffing floors Dusting Trashing Restroom cleaning and restocking Empties recycle boxes Floor mopping Clean glass Straighten areas, such as lobbies, conference rooms, locker rooms, & break rooms Transport trash & waste to proper disposal areas Required Skills/Abilities:
Flexible work schedule and willingness to work varying shift While performing the duties of this job, employee is frequently required to climb stairs.
The employee must be able to drive a vehicle.
Must have a normal range of eyesight with or without corrective lenses.
Must have a normal range of hearing with or without corrective equipment.
Education and
Experience:
High School or equivalent combination of education and experience At least 1 year of cleaning experience Must have custodial experience and floor and carpet care experience Must be able to work assigned shift hours and have flexibility to accommodate possible weekend projects or extended hours 6p to 10p 20h.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
