Principal Business Systems Analyst

As a lead member of business analysts group, support deployment and enhancement of broad range of software applications, including both commercial off-the-shelf and internally-developed software. Interact closely with business software applications owners representing Operations Division and Quality and Materials Management functions. Conduct business systems analysis. Perform business process modeling to determine system design. Compile project deliverables from the business users and experts. Document functional requirements including SOX and cGMP compliance requirements. Create technical documents. Document logical data structures and flows. Design and support manufacturing and supply chain interfaces/integrations between legacy system and SAP systems based on company IT implementation model. Develop, execute and coordinate Project Plans, including plan for Master data conversion for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation. Design and develop Electronic Data Interface solutions on ERP platform. In matrix environment with no direct reports, perform role of project coordinator and technical lead while fulfilling requirements of companys IT Project Management Office. Initiate project activity. Coordinate project and development activity conducted by internal and external resources (including IT Technologists, Process Engineers, Quality Engineers, Business Systems Analysts, Associate Directors IT, Quality Managers, and others) through to system development. Ensure appropriate testing. Function as primary liaison for communications between IT and business users. Initiate change requests and guide requests through the change management process.

Special Requirements:
Experience must include business systems analysis, project management and enterprise application support
Foundation of knowledge in software application architecture
Demonstrated ability to guide the successful completion of major design efforts and functions in a project leadership role
Experience using software development lifecycle (SDLC) techniques for system documentation such as business process models and entity relationship diagrams
Integration technologies
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally 10% of time
Minimum Job Requirements:
No less than a Bachelors degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in business related field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-degree IT experience involving business systems analysis
OR a Masters degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in business related field, and 3 years IT experience involving business systems analysis
OR any suitable combination of education, training and experience.
