Sodexo is seeking a Chef Manager for prestigious corporate client Bose Corporation in Framingham, MA. The focus of the role will be to participate in the development and implementation of innovative sustainable food and wellness culinary solutions to drive client and consumer satisfaction, client retention and continued team growth. Daily responsibilities include:
Daily food production of entrees, theme stations, soup, catering and special function specialty menu items
Special function and catering planning with customers
Ordering and inventory responsibilities
HACCP and production records, to include monthly safety audits
Employee training to include monthly safety
Manage a staff of up to 7 nonunion hourly associates
Oversees the preparation, food quality, portioning, garnishing, ordering and storage of all food
Oversee unit financials are maintained accurately, verify daily deposit and ensure daily deposits brought to bank.
Leadership of staff, employee scheduling and staff hiring decisions
Employee performance reviews
Planning of unit promotions and weekly menus
Maintain on site wellness and sustainability standards
Interacts with customers and clients
The successful candidate will have at least 1 year lead culinary experience, a strong working knowledge of food safety & sanitation guidelines, prior experience managing an hourly production staff as well as excellent organizational, communication, computer and customer service skills would be a plus for this role. Prior culinary management experience in corporate dining would be a plus for this role.
Supervises cooks and oversees the preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food. Estimates food consumption and purchases food. May assist in cooking and preparing food as necessary. Responsible for maintaining kitchen and storage facilities in sanitary condition. Responsible for cash management. Interacts with client/customers on a regular basis. This position is the leader for an account/unit chef/production group. This position is in smaller accounts/units where there is not a Executive Chef or Food Production Manager. Reports to General Manager.
Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
