Promo Project Coordinator
Position
Summary:
The Promo Project Coordinator reports to the Director of Promo Execution and supports the sales & promo department with the execution of seasonal promotional plans.
Working closely with promo planning, merchandising and inventory/planning teams, logistics, and Staples preferred display vendors - this role assists the promo team in bringing the promo plans to life by creating exciting, impactful promotional displays for each season and then communicating the plan to the field organization.
The Promo Coordinator has key responsibilities in the execution of the promo process.
Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
Coordinate activities associated with building each promo season, displays, and programs.
This includes (but not limited to):
ensuring the hand off of each promotional season from the promo planning team to the promo execution team is conducted on time and is complete, working with the preferred display vendors to create impactful displays for each season, and helping to create the promo playbooks which communicate the seasonal plan to all stores Responsible for facilitating the promo display review process calendar and keeping progress on track Coordinate with cross-functional teams and communicate all seasonal planning activities with merchandising, inventory/planning, and replenishment throughout all phases of seasonal planning process Serve as promo execution team point person for all testing projects Utilize forecasting/planning/allocation tools to execute purchase orders and work with logistics, supply chain and distribution centers to ensure on time delivery of promotional displays Communicate weekly with stores and internal stakeholders regarding updates to promo displays Qualifications Basic:
Bachelor's Degree 1 - 2 years of experience in related field Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Preferred:
Experience with Merchandising Systems - AS400 (Galaxy), Brio, SKU Central.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
