Senior Software Architect - Order Management

As a Senior Architect, you will be part of the Shared Order Management System (OMS) team and will lead in solution architecture definition, standards and implementation of multiple Order Management projects based on the IBM Sterling Commerce OMS/ Multi Channel Fulfillment(MCF) platform.
You will also impact many parts of Staples' business and its applications by partnering with different application teams to deliver high quality solutions with excellent time to market.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Customer success on the Azure platform with special focus on private and public cloud strategy and direction.
Influence the strategic direction of Hybrid engineering organization.
Contribute learnings to the larger community via written guidance.
Have successfully deployed customer cloud project both private and public Have a good understanding of end to end Cloud customer experience Influence the adoption of evolving microservices in the global commerce platform.
Participate and provide inputs to governance mechanisms with PaaS & CaaS.
Lead the solution definition to extend the capabilities of the Shared OMS and related system components to meet Staples' evolving business needs.
This includes the definition of:
Order Management related business process flows Configuration and definition of the pipelines, services and interfaces on the Sterling Commerce/Yantra platform that support the order management lifecycle (e.
g.
order capture, order payment, etc.
) Design OMS capabilities for multi-channel use cases across business units such as B2C, B2B and retail Provide and implement recommendations on a scalable and flexible architecture which maximizes reuse and reduces total cost of ownership Work with the development and support team to ensure the system is implemented as designed and in adherence to the Shared OMS implementation guidelines Partner with the business analysts to translate business requirements into core system capabilities on the OMS Partner with the Staples Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Worldwide Service Oriented Architecture (WSOA) and Worldwide Security and Enterprise Architecture teams (WSEA) teams to identify enterprise services and ensure that the Shared OMS is built in a service oriented manner, Expert knowledge of NoSQL data store technologies and polyglot persistence (CouchDB, Cassandra) Expert knowledge of Node.
js Strong understanding of application security standards and best practices Strong knowledge of software operationalization, performance tuning, threading and modularization.
Basic skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline 10-15 years overall technical experience Have successfully deployed customer cloud project both private and public Solid understanding of end to end Cloud customer experience Preference for wide variety of experiences with technology especially non-Microsoft technologies Understanding of how solutions are architected, designed, built and deployed end to end.
6 plus years of experience working on the IBM Sterling Commerce OMS/MCF platform.

years work experience related to Java/JEE, Eclipse platform, XML, XSD and other related technologies Proven object-oriented design abilities, solid understanding of software engineering frameworks, architecture and solution design methodology, tools and processes Experience architecting and designing IBM Sterling Commerce/Yantra using service oriented architectures Preferred skills:
