The color is the natural oak wood grain shown through the finish. The top, front and sides are 2 inch thick oak. Everything else including the drawers is all oak of varying thicknesses. The large unique corner pedestal foot pictured underneath is 6"X6" wide. The filing cabinet features double wall construction and dual sliding heavy duty drawer hardware for strength and easier access of files. The craftsmanship is top quality and extremely sturdy. The drawer and other joints are very strong variations of dove tails and other lock miters designs.
